Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kunnapapdeelert, Director of the Nakhonping Energy Research and Development Institute at Chiang Mai University, welcomed a delegation from JETRO Bangkok on a study visit. The purpose of the visit was to discuss cooperation and exchange knowledge on the management of the biomass gas energy industry, waste management, and sustainable, safe, and environmentally friendly waste management practices.
The visit also aimed to enhance the efficiency of waste management and elevate the capabilities in environmental engineering. This initiative is expected to lay the groundwork for future academic collaborations. The meeting took place at the Integrated Biomass Management Center at Chiang Mai University on Friday, June 21, 2024.
