On Friday, July 5, 2024, the Energy Research and Development Institute – Nakornping (ERDI) at Chiang Mai University, under the leadership of Associate Professor Dr. Sirichai Kunapapdeelert, Director of the institute, warmly welcomed a delegation from Toyota Motor Asia. The visit was an opportunity to discuss potential collaborations and exchange knowledge regarding the Biomethane facility.
During their visit, the Toyota Motor Asia delegation toured ERDI-CMU’s analytical and testing laboratories, which specialize in physical, chemical, and environmental analysis. They also visited the compressed biomethane gas production station at the university’s Integrated Biomass Management Center. The discussions and tours aimed to highlight the institute’s advancements in renewable energy and the potential for future collaboration between the two organizations.
