On December 18, 2024, the Energy Research and Development Institute – Nakornping, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Itthichai Prechawutipong, Deputy Director of the Institute, welcomed the Physical Systems Administration team from the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, for a study visit. The visit focused on discussions and knowledge exchange in energy management, energy innovation, and sustainable Smart City development.
The knowledge exchange covered various topics, including energy management, Smart Building concepts, Net Zero Energy initiatives, facility management systems, renewable energy and waste management, the development and conversion of electric vehicles, the design and installation of energy storage systems (batteries), as well as greenhouse gas and environmental management. The visit took place at the Energy Research and Development Institute – Nakornping, Chiang Mai University.
This study visit provided an opportunity to share significant insights and innovations in energy and environmental management, emphasizing progress toward sustainability and the development of Smart Cities.
